I was logging on each of my alts, just exploring and saying an extended
good-bye, when I logged into one particular one. I did the usual /whoall to
see if anyone else was around... no one. More and more common, but... I
flew down from the top of the building to find the streets empty. No
players. No NPCs. No nuthin', although I did trigger an auto-hail as I went
past the newsboy position at the tram station.

Parked her and moved on. It wasn't until I thought about it later... she
was in Galaxy City. The old one. I guess if you left alts parked there,
they stay there until you exit.

How strange. Alone in a deserted, inaccessible zone in a deserting, soon to
be inaccessible game world. Talk about oblivion.

Talk about talking to yourself.
